According to the officials that 12737 candidates scored 95% and above and 72599 candidates scored 90% and above in 12th class examination for the present session.
Top three reasons are from Trivandrum which 97.32% Chennai with 93 point 87% and Delhi with 89% the passing percentage of candidates in foreign countries for this year student 94.94 against last year’s that is of 92.02.
This year girls performance is outperformed as compared to boys with an overall passing percentage of 88 point 31% compared to the boys which is of 78.09 percent that is a repeating pattern seen since few last years
The toppers from disabled student was Vijay Ganesh from Palakkad in Kerala is code 98.4% and Pooja Kumari from Uttarakhand Dehradun student second position with 97.8% and Lavanya Jahan of DPS RK Puram in Delhi came to the third position with percentage of 97.04%.
Officials for the year 2017-18 total 141 candidates 90% and above students and 25 got 95% and above. This year total 91818 students failed in one of the five subjects and candidates Failing in one subject shall placed under the compartment in that subject provided he qualifies in all the subjects of internal assessment
For the year 2017-18 for class 12th 1186306 Candidates registered and the exams are held at 4138 centres in India and 71 centres and abroad
