NIT Srinagar is also known as National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (NITSRI), located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It was established in 1960 as the Regional Engineering College, Srinagar but in July, 2003 the college was upgraded to become the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. In the same year, the institution was granted Deemed University status with the approval of the University Grants Commission.
It is one of 31 National Institute of National Institute of Technology and governed by the National Institute of Technology Act, 2007. NIT Srinagar is directly under the control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). On 15 August 2007 NIT Srinagar became an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Bill passed by the parliament of India. It has 12 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences programs.

Cutoff for NIT Srinagar:
2018 Cutoff for NIT Srinagar will be announced by the exam conducting authority.
