Choosing the right subjects after class 10 is not the easiest thing to do.
So many people have so many opinions to give. Also, there is parental pressure to choose Science in your +2 if you have performed well in your 10th.
Making the right choice can be difficult. We at understand that.
Here are a few things that you must keep in your mind while choosing your stream and subjects :
Never succumb to parental/societal pressure:
It’s okay if you end up taking Humanities or Commerce despite scoring 95% in 10th. If you think you will do well in a stream, choose it without even thinking twice about what the aunty-next-door or your relatives will say when they get to know about this.
Even if your parents oppose your decision, talk to them. Make them understand that this is your choice.
Talk to a counselor or a career guide:
let them know about what you are feeling inside. They have been handling such cases for a very very long time. Their experience is something that is very very valuable.

Often, what you think is not what it is. It is better to get the hang of the subject from your seniors. See if you are really interested in a particular subject.
For Science students, it is better to choose paths early:
If you are interested in Engineering, then Biology would be of no use to you. Taking Computer Science can reduce loads and loads of burdens plus the perks of knowing something before hand that will be useful for your B.Tech degree.
On the flip side, if you want to be a doctor, then you can drop Maths. You can take up Psychology to reduce your load.
This way, you can focus on what’s necessary and be a step ahead of your competitors.
Keeping two legs on two boats is not the best idea, unless you are a genius.
Listen to your heart:
If you think you can do better in a particular subject, then take it without thinking about it for a second time. Always remember, the subject you choose are the ones you study throughout your life.
This is a crucial turning point in your life, and if you do not listen to your heart, you may end up regretting throughout your life.
So, that’s all about choosing subjects after your 10th. Let’s hope your journey called plus two is exciting for you!
