National Testing Agency to Conduct JEE main NEET UG and UGC net
Union Cabinet shared by PM Narendra Modi recently passed a proposal for creating of a national testing agency NTA
The aim of forming National testing agency is only to organise various high-profile entrance examination which are conducted by CBSE presently
The Proposal caused by PM Modi shared in 2017 budget finance minister Arun Jaitley says that the motive behind setting up National testing agency is to ensure one standardized test across the country it will act as a society registered under the Indian societies Registration Act 1860 Central Government funded 25 hours to National testing agency already and to initiate its operations for its first year of start
Aim of NTA
To reveal CBSE from its duties for conducting various examinations and focus them on quality of Higher Education towards the nation
CBSE presently conducts 9 types of examination including JEE mains UGC-NET need and many others
It forms for reducing difficulty level among different sets of papers
One of an aim is to ensure standardized difficulty level for various competitive examinations and run them in a smooth admission procedure
Respective agency will work on autonomous basis
Ministry of Human Resource Development appoints an eminent educationist as the NTA chairperson and board of governors will represent the respective institution @ some changes which national testing agency
From 2019 onwards respective agency will be responsible for conducting various National level examinations for examples need UGC net and JEE Mains etc
Respective examinations will conduct 2 times per year which helps students in levelling mountain pressure either for passed the examination or to wait for one more year to get admission for respective institutes
- All the respective sounds will be held in online mode
- All the examinations will be taken by the respective agency
- Agency will locate various examination centres in Sub District and district level as well in order to serve better for rural students
