Age relaxation:
The maximum age limit for the disabled candidates can be given by the Principal of the concerned school by 2 years.
Seat Reservation:
Of the total seats available for the new entrance, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% seats for ST in KV No 1 Naval Base Kochi. And for the new entrance, 3% of the total seats available will be reserved for PH children.
While providing admission the candidates of central government’s transferable and non-transferable employees, including ex-servicemen, is given preference in Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Naval Base Kochi.
Admission Process
No entrance test (except Class 9) is organized for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Naval Base Kochi (Central School). In KV No 1 Naval Base Kochi, admission in class 2 to 8 is given on priority basis.
A written entrance test is conducted for admission in class 9th of KV No 1 Naval Base Kochi. This entrance examination consists of a question paper for 3 hour duration. The Questions will be asked from the Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science and Science subjects. There are 20 marks for each subject is prescribed.
