National Eligibility cum Entrance Test

According to latest order of honorable Supreme Court of India, only NEET would enable students to get admission to MBBS or BDS courses. NEET is the country’s sole medical entrance examination, through which all medicalcolleges run by Central and State Governments, as well as private institutions andminority institutions, will admit students. However, NEET will not encroach upon toprerogative of state governments to admit students as per their preferred profile, basedon sex, minority or domicile status, as the case may be. Other criteria may be sortedout at the time of counselling but there will be no dilution of existed quotes.

Language of the Question Paper

  • Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.
  • Option of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
  • Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only andthe candidates opt for Hindi would be provided Test Booklet in both Hindi andEnglish, i.e. Bilingual.
  • In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English versionshall be treated as final.

 Pattern of the Entrance Test

The entrance test shall consist of two paper in phase I & II, both are containing 180objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using blue/black ball point pen only. The duration of paper would be 03 hours.

The Total number of questions was 45 in this section. Out of which, 22 from class XI and 23 from class XII.

Analysis of Chemistry Section of NEET Phase-I 2017

 

 

 

 

 

The total number of questions was 45 in this section. Out of which, 19 from class XI and 26 from class XII.

Analysis of Botany Section of NEET Phase-I 2017

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Total number of questions was 49 in this section. Out of which, 28 from class XI and 21 from class XII.

Analysis of Zoology Section of NEET Phase-I 2017

 

 

 

 

 

The Total number of questions was 41 in this section. Out of which, 30 from class XI and 11 from class XII.
