NEET, I am Ready!
People in long white coats, who can listen to our heartbeats with stethoscopes, those important people, you are absolutely right, I am talking about doctors. We may call them healers and we know it’s a noble profession. Well very few get through the tests and aspirants are way too many, afterall this is India; what do you expect? Fortunately enough here I am with a bag of tricks and treats which will help you get through the NEET.
Into the head of enemy:
Here the enemy of yours ids the exam called NEET, so in order to defeat, as in to pass the exam, you must know your exam well, as in what kind of questions come, what are the subjects, the subparts and sections, every last detail. In NEET There are three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.Subject, I know:
In order to answer questions, you must know all the subjects pretty well. The subjects Physics, Chemistry or Biology have different sections and subsections. For example there are Optics, Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, Thermodynamics in Physics, General Organic Chemistry, Mole Concept, Periodic Table, Coordination Chemistry, Chemical Bonding in Chemistry and Genetics, Ecology & Environment, Cell Biology, Morphology, Basics of Biotechnology, Reproduction, Physiology of Animals & Plants in Biology. Many.. I know but you have to study them all.
Back to Basics:
Basics are important, with a weak basement; the whole building collapses so you must have strong basic knowledge about every subject. One must start from the scratch and then continue to move forward and climb the ladder of studies. Guys! Bring out those elementary science text books and start studying.
Routines, schedules all sound boring, but trust me, these boring things makes studying effective. So make time tables, create routines and set time slots. Fix particular time for everything, your life must be within a restricted pattern, the repetition of the same old cycle is necessary, to make studying fruitful.
Nope, I am not talking about self -journey or anything. My point here, is that in order to crack NEET, you must learn your own strengths and weaknesses. Accordingly more time and energy must be spent on weaknesses to make them at per with your strengths.
Colour is Good:
Use coloured pens to mark chapters, highlight lines and formulas, and make tables with different coloured pens. This makes your material look interesting, it’s easier to see and remember things. You can highlight very important ones with red, blue may depict the ones you keep on forgetting and so on.
Taking mock tests is very essential in the sense, that it gives you the feel of a real test. You will be able to judge your efforts and studies; it will bring out the holes in the wall. You will get to know your faulty parts and learn about time management.
This was it for today, there are many other tips which you can use, these are few important ones and the two things which I do not wish to highlight formally is work hard and focus. Best of Luck!
