NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG), 2018 (NEET-UG-2018) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the candidate who wants to get admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges have to qualify the exam. These colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
All the doubts are cleared for medical candidates, positively an honest news for all medical aspirants who will be going to attend the NEET UG 2018 on 06 May 2018. CBSE has informed the supreme court that this year that there’ll be a standard & common set of paper for NEET 2018. This decision may lead to an appropriate All India Rank which is beneficial for all medical aspirants.
The previous year, candidates who appeared in Gujarati, Tamil and Bengali language approached SC regarding totally different question paper of NEET in regional language papers. Said that they are facing higher difficulty level and argued that NEET offers an All India Ranking to all the medical aspirants of regional language then how can question paper differ in regional languages. After that court asked CBSE for evidence, CBSE proved that the difficulty level was same only the language is different according to the region.
The apex court said that there is no any logic to conduct the same exam with a different set of question paper in regional languages. SC also found out that it may cause difficulty to students. So both apex court and SC strictly ordered CBSE to not repeat such type of mistakes hence, the Board changing itself for the upcoming NEET 2018 exam.
Supreme Court asked CBSE to file an affidavit that it will ready for conducting NEET 2018 as per the court rules and prepare the paper in a uniform manner in all languages.
For all languages like Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada a common question will be prepared in NEET 2018. CBSE counsel, Tarachand Sharma conveyed this information to the Supreme Court bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra.
The previous year, 30,817 candidates qualified out of 1,00,152, While only one candidate can score above 600 marks out of 720 yet on the other side 84 students are also there who scored between 501 to 600 marks. As per information compared by CBSE, out of 21,778 medical aspirants who appeared in vernacular languages only one was able to score within the range of 501-600.
Now, CBSE is totally ready to announce the notification for NEET UG 2018 on their official website. Expected time is given for the application form of NEET 2018 is the end of January 2018. As per the survey, nearly 11 to 12 lakh aspirants are applying this year. The NEET (UG), 2018 will be conducted on Sunday, the 6th May, 2018.
