About NIT Kurukshetra, Cutoff & Ranking Procedure

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is also known as NIT Kurukshetra. It was established in the year 1963 in Kurukshetra. It is a joint enterprise of the Government of India and the Government of Haryana as the Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra (REC Kurukshetra). NIT Kurukshetra is one of the 31 National Institute of Technology in India and the college is established with funding support from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The College previously known as the Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra but on June 26, 2002, college was upgraded to the Deemed University. Since then it has been renamed as National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.

Cutoff for NIT Kurukshetra:
