NIT Meghalaya is one of the premier technical institute and was established in the year of 2010. NIT Meghalaya is also known as National Institute of Technology Meghalaya (NITM) and is located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. NIT Mehalaya is one among the 31 NITs in India established as Institutions of National Importance and established with the funding support from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, government of India. NIT Meghalaya Alumni Association (NITMAA) was formed in 2015. The main goal of this association is to act as a bridge between the past and the present of NIT Meghalaya.
