Kendriya Vidyalaya, NMR JNU campus, Delhi-

Kendriya Vidyalaya JNU was established in 1972 as a base for tertiary education. This Vidyalaya is a Vidyalaya with Primary Branches in IIT, NCERT & JNU Campus. The children join the main school in class VI. This Vidyalaya is the only Vidyalaya with eight sections in each class, from I to XII. This gives new challenges to meet the defined missions of KVS.

Kendriya Vidyalaya JNU Admissions-

Registrations for the academic year starts in the month of February.Register your child by submitting an application form.

Application forms will be available in the school office.

Please ensure all necessary supporting documentation is included with your application.

On receiving the application form, the school will determine if a place is available and notify you.

Facilities-

The School is equipped with the latest educational facilities like classrooms which is fully spacious and ventilated, playground, pantry and restrooms. The other attractions are laboratories, library, transportation and medical facilities.

The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four-fold mission, viz.,

1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government. including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;
2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;
3. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like them. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc

4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
