This school is situated in a quiet and pleasant locale in the Civil Lines area of Rewa, the land of white tigers. It has a campus sprawling over 260 acres. The climate of Rewa is dry in summer and quite cold in winters. Rewa is located on the Allahabad-Mumbai highway at a distance of 550 Kms from Bhopal, 235 Kms from Jabalpur and 578 km from Raipur It is accessible by road and rail from Satna (54 km). The school is located at 3 kms from Rewa Bus stand and 6 kms away from Rewa Railway Station. Direct trains are available for Bhopal, Jabalpur, Bilaspur, Allahabad & New Delhi.
School Fees :
During the present academic year, i.e. 2017-18 total fee on new admission is Rs. 94,838/- (Gen/Def) and Rs. 92,838/- (SC/ST) per annum is payable in advance or two half yearly installments in April and October. Parents will be required to pay the revised fees and clothing charges as and when the rates are increased by the Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi/Principal during the subsequent years, till the cadet completes his education in this School. Parents/Guardians, who do not deposit fees within one week from the due date are liable to face expulsion of their son/ward from the School. New entrants have to pay School fees in one installment at the time of admission only. The fee structure is revised every year by the order issued by Sainik School society.
The tuition fees and diet money are to be paid in advance along with the caution money on 1st June of every year. Sainik School Rewa Fee Structure is as follows:

The admissions will be made on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which comprises of three parts for Class 6th and four parts for Class 9th. The Sainik School Exam Pattern described below.

The minimum qualifying marks vary as per the category to which the student belong as follows:
• General/ Defence Category: The boy should score at least 25% marks in each section and 40% aggregate marks.
• SC/ ST Category: There is no minimum qualifying marks but only inter-se-merit which is relative merit among competing SC/ ST boys against vacant seats.
The boys who qualify and are high in merit will be called for an Interview and Medical Examination at a later date. Number of selected candidates depends on the number of vacant seats. Usually there are 120 vacant seats for Class 6th and 20 vacant seats for Class 9th.
